Celebrating Two Years of Women for Women

This week BrazilFoundation is celebrating the two year anniversary of the Women for Women Campaign. Since the campaign kicked off at the XII Gala New York in September of 2014, more than 200 women (and a few men!) have joined the initiative that was create to promote philanthropy among Brazilian women, connect women leaders, and advance economic opportunity, leadership and rights for women in Brazil.

The resources mobilized through the campaign are invested in the BrazilFoundation Women’s Fund, which supports projects in the areas of health, education and wellness that impact not only women, but ultimately their families and communities too.

As of September, 2016, R$510,000 has been invested in 17 projects in 9 states, directly impacting more than 1,800 women across Brazil. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg! You can read about what else has been accomplished by downloading this report.

Two events will be held in Miami this week for the the campaign, which will mobilize resources for additional projects!
