Community philanthropy, its challenges, and the perspectives for its development in Brazil

 
BrazilFoundation supports the Transformando Territórios (Transforming Communities) Program, developed by IDIS in partnership with the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, which promotes the creation and strengthening of community institutes and foundations.

In May, Transformando Territórios’ 1st seminar brought together a diverse audience to debate and deepen the knowledge on an important topic: community philanthropy and its challenges and the perspectives for its development in Brazil. Among the speakers, our Vice President, Monica de Roure, spoke about the importance of engagement and partnerships at the community level.
