With the “Startups Acceleration 2023” project, to be developed with resources donated by the Black Entrepreneurship Fund of BrazilFoundation, BlackRocks aims to train and connect 8 Black startups through the Grow Startup acceleration program. The program includes a two-year follow-up for prototyping and business adjustments, as well as active investment search for the Black startups. The strategy also involves integrating these Black-owned companies into the startup ecosystem in Brazil by providing online training, mentorship, and opportunities for contact with partnerships and sponsorship sources. Since 2016, BlackRocks Startup has been working to promote access for the Black population in highly innovative and technological environments. More than 5,000 individuals have already participated in events, technology startup acceleration programs, training sessions, and partnerships.
