Associação Casa Dharma
With the donation of resources from the Black Entrepreneurship Fund of BrazilFoundation, the “University of Hustle 2023” aims to provide support to 600 Black-owned businesses in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Recife, and Salvador, with a focus on Black youth and peripheral Black women. The training includes content on the tax system, microfinance, and encouragement to strengthen the protagonistic identity of Blacks in business management in contrast to structural racism in the economy. The initiative is led by Casa Dharma, in operation since 2015, updating a project that has trained 4,700 Afro-entrepreneurs and reached over 25,000 students between 2013 and 2018.
