Construindo Igualdade

Construindo Igualdade works to defend the human rights, citizenship, and social inclusion of the LGBTQIA+ population in southern Brazil, focusing on prevention and support for people living with STIs, HIV, and AIDS.

The organization runs the region’s first shelter for LGBTQIA+ people, providing legal support and helping ensure rights and build safer, more dignified paths forward.
