De Olho no Futuro
With just over 18,000 inhabitants, Icapui is a fishing community in which women have a fundamental role in daily life. The Brazil Citizen’s Foundation works throughout the state of Ceará promoting environmental education programs on the use of natural resources and preserving local biodiversity. With BrazilFoundation’s support, this project will promote environmental education, while providing incentives to women in cooperatives to develop environmentally sound economic activities that add value to the products while protecting the environment.
