Bate Papo
The Sociedade de Amigos da Vila Kennedy offers healthcare and educational programs to the low-income population of Vila Kennedy. Among various activities offered by the organization, some are focused women’s and children’s health. In addition, the organization actively participates and influences public policies in the city of Rio de Janeiro. The “Bate Papo” project offered educational workshops about sexual and reproductive health, training 19 teachers and benefiting 233 children/teenagers from 4 public schools in the region.
