With the rains in the region, 341 towns are in an emergency, leaving more than 16,000 people homeless.

BrazilFoundation is receiving donations to help two partner organizations:

Associação Educativa e Cultural de Igarapé has been working for 30 years serving the community and surroundings. At this time, they will help the residents with water, food, hygiene and cleaning material, mainly to clean all the mud from the houses.

NaAção promotes humanitarian initiatives in communities impacted by the dam failure in Brumadinho. At the moment, they are distributing food baskets and water to Brumadinho and eight other affected towns. In partnership with the Fire Department, they will take donations to isolated regions.
