First TYCO class at Colégio Estadual Monteiro de Carvalho graduates
With much enthusiasm and pride, 26 of 30 youngsters concluded the vocational training course on Electronic Security Equipment Installation and Image Monitoring offered through the partnership of the Carioca Fund with TYCO and the Marques de Salamanca Institute. The low dropout rate may be attributed to the interest in this new job sector, the support provided by the TYCO staff, and the dedication of the teaching staff. As a result, seven of this group are already employed in Rio de Janeiro. The selection process for the second class is already underway.
