Why Gender Equity?
In the last years, there has been a significant loss in gender equity rights acquired and guaranteed by public policies.
Women, girls, and the LGBTQIAP+ population under go the affirmation of their social, economic, cultural, and health rights. In addition to various prohibitions, these populations still face gender and ethnic-racial violence. Affirmative actions to economically empower women, girls, and LGBTQIAP+ people are crucial to significant advances in the gender equity and women’s rights agenda.
The abysmal state of women, girls & LGBTQIAP+ population’s rights reflects racial and socioeconomic disparities as well.
